I welcome you and your students to my class!! I am very excited to work with your children, show them how exciting the world is, and teach them how we can make a difference in it through literature and projects throughout the year!
On this page I will post information about projects that are coming up along with their due dates, their rubrics, as well as updates about the class and its progress throughout the year.
Our focus will be on connecting to the world through literature. Throughout the course we will plan several community service projects and one final project that reaches out further than our own backyards! We will also create a class blog where the students will share their writing with others and have the oppurtunity to have their work published. Once it is up and running I will post the link here.
